Welcome to It’s Casual!
It’s been a long time coming, but here it is. A brand new website. A brand new name. A brand new place. It’s Casual.
I guess I should back up a bit.
If you’ve been with me since 2012, you might have remembered Pink Champagne Problems. Pink Champagne Problems was a blog I started in college, and it stayed with me until about 2017. I outgrew it. I didn’t like it. I was embarrassed by it.
If you’ve been with me since 2018 up until last week (LOL), you know this website as
The Champagne Edit
. Back in 2018, I thought it was a stepping stone to allow my blog to grow with me as I started becoming more of an adult (LOL, again). I didn’t want to veer too far away from the “champagne” and “finer” things in life mentality, so I thought that name suited me.
Boy, was I wrong.
Around September-ish, I realized I was starting to outgrow
The Champagne Edit
. And that made me nervous. I didn’t love it anymore. Sure, I loved champagne (still do, DUH), but what the hell did it even mean? I started throwing around the idea of a rebrand to my best friend, Erica, but then put it on the back burner because…actually, I don’t know why. I guess it was mainly fear? Like. COME ON. ANOTHER REBRAND? I was for sure having an identity crisis.
Fast forward to the Covid-19 pandemic.
I started getting the opinions of more people: Erica, Allie, Elle, Nick, and my sister. And I kind of just ran with it. It felt right to me. I put together a brand deck to see if I could pitch my rebrand to none other than myself. And guess what? It came SO naturally to me. I thought I was rushing this rebrand, but to be honest, it was just easy. My creative juices were flowing, I easily switched my domains, my emails, and all the other back-end crap that comes with a new brand.
So what does this all mean? Well, actually…NOT MUCH.
That’s kind of the point. Many of you have seen my content evolve from just posting outfits to sharing more about my personal life, my career, and blogging. I even have my bestie, Elle, contribute weekly for
Elle’s Edit.
The future of my business truly centers around connection, creativity, and inspiration. I want It’s Casual to be a place where you come to continue to have a connection with me, get to know me, and get inspiration

, and your life. I want this to be a place of no fuss. Everything is…just casual.
